QCQT Winter Event

12th to 13th February 2018

Quantum computing and quantum technology is a field underpinned by powerful ideas in quantum physics. All of us working in this area need to become fluent with these ideas. For most of us, these concepts go beyond our undergraduate courses. The research literature can be very technical. To plug this gap, the QCQT Graduate School has organised a Winter Event. There will be 4 pedagogical lectures covering the big ideas, followed by a lecture on the current technological state-of-the-art in realizing quantum networks. Five inspiring speakers, five fascinating topics!

All researchers in the department are encouraged to attend.
All lectures will take place in the New Lecture Room, St. Johanns Ring 25.
